CARS IN COLLISION
ONE DRIVER INJURED ACCIDENT AT PAPATOETOE A fracture of the right leg and abrasions were suffered by Mr. William John Wigney, postal clerk, aged 26, of Puhunui Road, Papatoetoe, when the motor-car he was driving on the Great South Boad at Papatoetoe yesterday afternoon was involved in an accident.
The mishap occurred at Hunter's Corner, on the main highway, Mr. Wigney's car colliding with a car driven by Mr. James Barrett, of Waihi Boad, Paeroa. The impact throw Mr. Wigney to the roadway. After being treated by Dr. J. J. Valentine, of Papatoetoe, he was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. There were two men and two children in the other car, but none of the occupants was hurt.
