CRICKETER BEREAVED
DEATH OF MRS. P FENDER / (Received July S, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 7 ,The death is reported of Ruth Marion, wife of the noted English amateur cricketer Mr. Percy Fender. Mrs. Pender, who was formerly Miss Clapham, married the cricketer in 1924. There is one son and one daughter. Mr. Fender was captain of Surrey in 192132, and has played for England against Australia and South Africa.
