FISHERIES INQUIRY
CITY PREMISES INSPECTED After hearing the evidence of an independent witness yesterday morning, the Sea Fisheries Investigation Committee examined the accounts of various fishing interests in Auckland, and spent the rest of the day upon an inspection of premises in the city. The evidence of fishermen will be taken to-day. Already the committee has collected a good deal of information since it commenced its inquiry on Monday, but so much remains to be done that it may be another fortnight before the inquiry is finished.
