AMATEUR ATHLETICS
' WINTER COMPETITIONS Members of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will journey to Mauku, Patumahoe, to-morrow, when the winter competitions will be held on the farm of Mr. W. J. Sommerville. Four field events, two sprint races, and the Mauku steeplechase of 3Va miles, will be decided. Handicaps for the running events are as follows: Mauku Steeplechase, 3Va miles. —L. B.
