INTOXICATED DRIVER
YOUNG MAN FINED £lO NO LICENCE FOR 12 MONTHS [by TETjEjKAI'H—I'iIKSS association] IN VERC ARO ILL, Wednesday For beinc intoxicated in charge of a motor-car, Vernon Dwyer Vincent, aged 20, was fined £lO and costs, and was prohibited from driving for 12 months, when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning. For driving negligently, Vincent was convicted and discharged.
"Ample warning has been given all over New Zealand about these cases, and people should not take the risk," said Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M. "Defendant is young, but you can't teach them too young."
