HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES Miss R. Eales, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. J. G. Catran, Queen Street. Mrs. John Reilly, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. Norman Banks, has returned to Howick. Mrs. P. Murray, of Te Kauwhata, is the guest of Mrs. D. Murray, Thornton Road. Miss Hilda Dallimore has returned from a visit to New Plymouth. Miss Nancy Porritt has been spending her annual leave from the Waikato Hospital with her mother, Mrs. H. E. Porritt, Pukeroro. Mrs. A. J. Law and Mrs. E. E. Coote have left to spend a holiday at Suva. Mrs. R. W. Smith, of Auckland, is staying with her mother, Mrs. Bernard Brewer, Thornton Road. Mrs. H. H. McCathie and Miss Margaret McCathie, who have been on an extended visit to England, have returned to Cambridge. Miss Rhoda Brown, who has spent a number of years in England, has returned to her home at Fenoourt.
Mrs. M. Souter and Miss Ruth Souter will sail to-morrow by the Mariposa en rout to the East. They will visit Honolulu before returning home and expect to be away for about three months.
