LOYAL ADDRESSES
THEIR MAJESTIES PLEASED The loyal addresses from New Zealand to King George VI. and Queen Elizabeth were bound in boards of New Zealand woods, which, together with a leather cover, were designed and made by disabled soldiers under the Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment League. The league has received from the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. ;M. J. Savage, a copy of a letter from one of the King's private secretaries. Beferring to the address, the letter states: "Their Majesties were very pleased with it, and much admired the beautiful design and composition of the cover, and of ;the scroll work on the address itself."
