MANAGEMENT OF WHARF Several letters and paragraphs aP" peared in the daily press -30 years ag® condemning the system of managemeu at the Auckland wharf. The following is from a correspondent's letter nb ie appeared in the Xkw Zealand Herald of June 29, 1887: "Masters of vessels all unite in ing that the wharf is the managed one of any importance • have ever discharged cargo at. is the reason that the boarddo s make a change?
