FIRE BOARD APPOINTMENT
[from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Saturday Mr. R. V. Thompson, of Whangarei, has been appointed the Government representative on the Whangarei Fire Board for the ensuing year. Mr. H. C. Rish worth, who has represented the Government for a number of years, is at present on an extended holiday tour of Japan and the Far Fast.
