INSURANCE DIRECTOR
SOUTH BRITISH COMPANY The directors of the South British Insurance Company, Limited, have appointed Mr. Stronach Paterson, of Wellington, to the board and Sir George Elliot has been appointed overseas director of the company. Sir George Elliot recently resigned his seat on the board prior to going abroad for an extended period. Mr. Paterson is managing-director of A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, and also a director of Bond's Hosiery Mills (N.Z.), Limited, and the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company, of New Zealand, Limited.
