TANGAROA'S return NEARLY CENTURY FOR PLACE IRONSIDE SUCCEEDS IN CUP DOUBLE FOR KEWPIE'S CREST Heavy rain, which did not ease until the first race was about to start, made the track holding for the \Yaikato Trotting Club's meeting at C'laudelands on Saturday. In spite of the unfavourable conditions the gathering was very successful and large dividends were a feature, Bronte and Ironside being the only win favourites to score. T'angaroa paid nearly a century for a place when he finished third in the Introductory Handicap, a, record for the Auckland Province. He had only three ten shillings tickets on his win change and live for a place. Ironside won the Coronation Cup easily, while Kewpie's King scored in the Kaipaki Handicap from the favourite, King's Play. The Epsomtrained Kewpie's Crest won a double, scoring, in the Rukuhia Handicap and Visitors' Handicap.
