EVENTS AT WESLEY COLLEGE FOUR RECORDS ESTABLISHED [from our own correspondent] PUKEIvOHE, Sunday The annual inter-school athletic sports of Wesley College, St. Stephen's and Pukekohe Technical High School were held yesterday on the sports ground at Wesley College. Four new records were created and they were for throwing the senior and junior cricket balls and senior putting the 121b. shot and the 120 yards hurdles. The track remained in good order throughout, although the ground had been well soaked by the recent rains. In the senior grade J. Oien, Wesley College, threw the cricket ball 88yds 2ft 2Vii)i, which was 3,vds S'/ 2 in better than the previous record, established in 1934 by B. Revell, of tho Pukekohe High School. Ju the event for juniors, L. Hancock, Pukekohe High School, throw the ball a distance of 79yds 2ft Oin. Tho previous record was 74yds 7in, established in 1935 by R. Whitmoro, Pukokoho High School. K. Rika, St. Stephen's, put the shot 34ft 1 in, beating tho record established last year by G. Boyle, Wesley Collego, by lOin. By winning the senior 120 yds hurdles in 10 7-10s, K. Rika, also betlered the record of 17s put up by him last year. Tho tug-of-war was won by tho St. Stephen's team, comprised of K. Rika, K. Ruri. P. Tumataroa, G. Walters, R. Keopu, 11. Rika, R.
