WAIKATO WINTER SHOW

THE FORMAL OPENING ADDRESS BY HON. P. FRASER [from our own corrkspoxdext] HAMILTON, Sunday A wide variety of interesting attractions lias been provided in connection with the Waikato Winter Show, which will be formally opened at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. There was a large attendance at the social held last evening in connection with the private view of the New Zealand International Photographic Salon, in which some of the finest camera work to be seen anywhere in the world is on view.

No fewer than 11 women's institutes have taken space in the show and their courts promise to be an important feature of the exhibition. Nearly all the trade stands are completed and a wide range of machinery and goods is on view.

A novel feature of the opening ceremony will be the fact that the actingPrime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, will address the assembled company by telephone from Wellington. Mr. Fraser's voice will be amplified, and excellent reception is expected. The show will be declared open by Professor W. Rcddct, of Massey College.
