Pierce at- a meeting of the Waikato executive of the Farmers' Union today, when a remit, from the Auckland executive was received protesting against the decision of the Executive Commission of Agriculture in requiring dairy farmers in one district to supply a purchasing company for three years. . . v Mr. J. H. Furniss said the union had advocated zoning and the prevention of overlapping tor years, and now that the policy was being earned out it would be ridiculous to oppose the methods which were being adopted. It was explained that three years were required to enable the purchasing company to recoup itself in connection with the initial outlay. The iemit was rejected.
