The King's horse Curraghmore, a five-year-old by Friar Marcus from Bayberrv, won the Earl of Chester s Welter " Handicap, six furlongs, at Chester to-day. As a two-year-old 111 1934 Curraghmore won the Bestwood Nursery 1 late, five furlongs, at Nottingham, while the next season he accounted for the Histon Two-year-old Handicap, seven furlongs, at Newmarket, Grandstand Handicap, one mile, at Ripon, and AUestree Handicap, one mile, at Derby, Last season his best efiort was a second in the Richmond Plate, one mile, at Kempton Park.
