AUSTRALIANS AS GOLFERS (Received May f>, 7.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 0 The members of the Australian Davis Cup teain, who arc at San Antonio, to-day relaxed from tennis and played golf. Crawford stated: "We are not very good golfers and none did better than 100 but wo enjoyed it." Later tlip.v visited Santa Rosa Hospital and watched their host at San Antonio, Dr. James Nixon, perform an operation. McGrath, who has been ill, and the manager, .Mr. C. Sproulc, will arrive to.-morrow. They will all go immediately to Forest Hills, where they will take up their residence in a hotel adjoining the club and will begin practice.
