MOTOR-CYCLE MISHAP
PASSENGER INJURED FRACTURE AND HEAD WOUND A fractured shoulder and a severe head wound were received by Mr. F. Murphy, passenger in a sidecar attached to a motor-cycle ridden by Mr. M. Smith, when the vehicle ran off the Waimauku-Muriwai Road on Saturday afternoon and capsized. Mr, Murphy was attended by Dr. M. S. Harris, of Kumeu, who inserted several stitches in the wound on his head. He was later - able to return to his home. Mr. Smith escaped with an injury to one knee.
