LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Pukekohe. —The April meeting of the Pukekohe League of Mothers was attended by about SO members and friends. .Mrs. J. Comrie presided. Miss I?. Woodford, nurse in charge of the Pukekohe dental clinic, gave an interesting lecture on dental hygiene. The hostesses were Mesdames \V. Brown, •J. Poynton, and A. .1. Patterson. Hoe-o-Tainui.—This month's meeting of the. Hoe-o-Tainui branch of the league was held in the Tahuna Hall, Mrs. E. B. Elliott presiding. Visitors were present from the Epsom branch and the Tahuna branch of the AN omen's Division. Mrs. Turner, of Auckland, gave an interesting address on "Citizenship" and songs were given bv Mrs. Hardlcy and Mrs. Steele, accompanied by Mrs. Prime, 011 the piano. lOpsoin members present were: Mesdames Wvlie, Haszard, Smerdon, •Newbold, Steele, Hardlev, Kirkwood, Prime. Sandringhain.—The monthly meeting of the branch was well attended. Mrs. Wright read the provincial report. Mrs. Graham gave an interesting talk 011 her work at Salem House. Mrs. Miles gave the thought for the month. Miss .lean Menzies sang, and Miss Edna Woolford gave elocutionary items. Afternoon tea was served.
