FIRST OF THE NEW ENSIGN AIR LINERS FOR IMPERIAL AIRWAYS NOW NEARING COMPLETION An artist's impression of one of the giant Ensigns, which will be the world's largest land aeroplanes. Fourteen of these machines are on order for Imperial Airways, and the first will be ready in about two months. The maximum speed of these machines will exceed 200 miles an hour. They have s wingspan of 123 ft. and on European routes will accommodate 42 passengers.
