ROAD ETIQUETTE
Sir, —Re your interesting'article on "Led Horses" that appeared on April i tried leading a horse on the righthand side and was nearly run down by a car coming over the brow of a hill. Can anybody tell me how a motorist can see a man leading a horse on the right-hand side of the road coming round a corner, when ho is not supposed to be able to sec a man riding a Worse or driving a car round a corner on the right-hand side coming toward him? According to the photograph in tho Herald, the King's grooms bringing Windsor greys to Buckingham Palace ride on the left-hand side of the road. Is it not time for the law to be altered before somebody is killed trying to obey it? P. Nicklinson.
