BETTER TRANSPORT
NEEDS OF MANUREWA The need , for improved transport facilities between the City and Manu-
rewa was emphasised last night at the Manurewa Town Board meeting, when it was decided to approach the Railway Department and the local bus service management. Mr. K. S. Pegler said the district was being starved in 'its development by lack cf-adequate and up-to-date transport services. He considered the residents should not tolerate the unsatisfactory timetables and the indifference displayed by the/Railway Department. By comparison, Papatoetoe and other suburbs enjoyed immensely superior facilities
