APPEAL FOR £12,000
Y.M.C.A. CAMPAIGN Appointment of Mr. H. B. Burnett as campaign chairman of the Auckland Young Men's Christian Association's Coronation appeal for £12,000 was announced yesterday. The drive is to be made in June. Making public Mr. Burnett's consent to undertake the *ork, tho president, Mr. D. Henry, said it was 16 years since the people of Auckland were asked to give their support to a major appeal of 'this kind Tho directors of the association felt that the work for young men and boys carried on continuously would receive the practical endorsement of' tho great majority of citizens.
