PIRATE SHIP
Scones from the musical comedy I "Miss Hook of Holland" predominated in the decorative scheme at the Pirate Ship, Milford, on Saturday night, when a grand old-time carnival dance was held. The stage depicted a typical Dutch landscape, complete with colourful windmills, dykes »nd quaint little houses. Small windmill cut-outs adorned the cubicles and pillars and were eagerly sought as souvenirs by the many dancers present. Chinese lanterns, paper flowers and tiny fairy lights twinkling gaily from the ceiling, together with the colourful frocks of the ladies, made an attractive sight. The perfect rhythm of the Pirate Ship orchestra kept both decks crowded with enthusiastic dancers, and the special numbers from the musical comedy which was featured earned much applause. A cabaret supper was served on the cool supper deck, from where tho guests could look down upon the beautifully-lit Milford wonder pool.
