RIFLE SHOOTING
AKARANA CHAMPIONSHIP The semi-final of the Akarana Rifle Club's service championship was concluded at Penrose rifle range on Saturday, when a good attendance of members competed for the Laidlaw Cup. Shooting was service conditions, comprising a series of five shots at 25yds, five shots application, five shots independent. 10 shots rapid at 200 yds, and five shots application at 300 yds.
