That Bob Fitzsimmons ivas a rcmark--11 bio boxer is shown by the fact that bo was 52 years of age when he had his last fight. He was 28 years of ape when ho started fighting and was 35 at the time he knocked out Jim Corbett and won the world's heavy-weight title. Fitzsiinmons was 41 when he defeated George Gardner for the light-heavv-weight title, and at the age of 47 lie fought Bill Lang for the heavyweight title of Australia.
