STOWAWAYS SENTENCED
A FORTNIGHT IN GAOL Two •men, Thomas William Fountain and Norman Cameron, who stowed away on the Niagara shortly before the vessel left Sydney on March 18 for Auckland, were charged before Mr. W. ]{. MeKean, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Accused, who pleaded guilty, were sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment. Accused were discovered by an officer the morning after the ship left port, said J. Fox. They admitted stowing away and said they had no money. Cameron was a New Zealander,, who had lived in Australia for some years.
