March 10 Tho Under-Secretary of State for Air, Sir Philip Sassoon, in replying to a question to-day in tho House of Commons, said that in tho North Atlantic it was hoped to commence experimental flights toward the end of May, if flying conditions in Newfoundland would permit the operation of flying-boats.
