MILITARY TRAINING
CAMP AT ROTORUA MEN'S EFFICIENCY PRAISED [by telegraph—OWN* correspondent] ROTORUA, Thursday The Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. W. E. Barnard, to-day visited the military units in camp at Arawa Park. On behalf of the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, ho congratulated the men on their enthusiasm and high standard of •efficiency. He sajd the Government appreciated their enthusiasm and the fact that they were prepared to co-operate so practically in the defence of the country. Mr. Barnard watched members of the Mounted Rifles Brigado at rifle practice on the Atiamuri range, and also inspected the work of the Medical Corps and Corps of Engineers.
