PAKURANGA HUNT
ANNUAL MEETING HELD APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS The affairs of the Pakuranga Hunt were discussed at the annual meeting of members yesterday, when there was an attendance of mpre than 60. The master, Mr. H. Bullock-Webster, presided. Mr. Bullock-Wefoster was unanimously reappointed master and in addition the following officers were appointed:— Patron, the Governor-General, Viscount Galway; president, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates; vice-presidents, the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, Mr. C. E. Petrie, Mr. F. Earl, K.C., and Mr. B. M. Myers; joint deputy-masters, Dr. A. McGregor Grant and Lieutenant-Commander D. A. Bingley; fickl-master, Mr. ,A. Millen: field-secretary, Mr. A. G. Quartley; secretary, Mr. 11. D. Neal; hunt committee, Dr. A. Eisdell Moore, Messrs. 0. Allen, W. J. Brooks. W. T. Duder, C. R. M. Fulton. W. H. Martin-John-ston, A. Millen, W. W. McLaughlin. A. G. Quartley, O. R. Self, .A. J. F. Walker and A. E. Watkins; race committee, the master and Messrs. W. J. Brooks, W. S. Dalton, W. T. Duder, C. C. Hanuigan, G. Hodgson, W. H. Martin-Johnston, H. 1?. Mackenzie, A. G. Quartley, O. R. Self, W. M. Taylor. A. J. F. Walker and A. E. Watkins: auditors, 'Messrs. Morris, Duncan and G.vllies. The decision to appoint two joint deputy-masters was made at the suggestion of Dr. McGregor Grant, who pointed out that he was not able often to hunt and was therefore inclined to think that someone should be appointed to relieve tho master of some of his duties when the members were hunting awav from home. Mr. Bullock-Webster expressed the hunt's appreciation of the kindness shown by farmers in allowing the hunt over their properties. He assured them that members would take care not to do any damage.
