NOT SATISFIED IN INDIA OFFERS FROM AUSTRALIA (Received January 17, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 17 The Notts fast bowler Harold Larwood, who has returned from India, persists in his refusal to discuss the reasons for his return. He said to-day that statements in a London newspaper, attributed to him, stating that he had not "hit it off" with the Maharaja of Patiala, who had practically ignored him, were inaccurate. Ho added: "If people want to know what went wrong, they had better cable to India." When interviewed again at Nottingham Larwood said: "My reception in India disappointed mo and I was very sore that I did nob play more cricket. I had only two real matches. Moreover the climate did not. suit mo." Larwood stated that before ho went to India he had received one or two most attractive offers to go to Australia and give his Impressions on the test matches. "I am sorry I did not accept," he said. "I think I have 'come unstuck' ".
