ELECTRICITY SCHEME
NEW SOUTH WALES STATE £12,000,000 INVOLVED SYDNEY, Jan. 15 The Now South Wales Cabinet is taking the preliminary steps for launching an electricity scheme —the largest in Australia —to cost £12,000,000. It will comprise the harnessing of streams for hydro-electric undertakings throughout the country, and also the electrification of railways for a distance of 100 or more miles from and to Sydney, linking cities such as Newcastle, Lithgow, Goulburn with the north and south coasts.
