Scots and a Will

Delightfully entertaining is " Scotland Expects," by Mr. J. Storer Clouston. Although the writer's clever humour is, on this occasion, mingled with tragedy, ihc theme of the novel allows his sense of fun plenty of scope. He mak.es merry with a Scottish family which, disunited in many respects, is at one in condemnation of the will of the rich relative, Peter IVotherspoon. The inhabitants of manse, bonk, mansion and farm are all on parade to enliven the proceedings. "Scotland Expects," by J. Storer Clouslon (Herbert Jenkins).
