RECEIPTS IN MELBOURNE COUNTING NOT COMPLETED MELBOURNE. .Tan. 14 Although the third cricket test match between England and Australia terminated a week ago, the gate-takings are still being counted by a staff of 24 officials. The amount received will be reduced by about £3O, representing spurious coins which were accepted in the tremendous rush at the turnstiles. Coins from France, America, India and South Africa were accepted, as were counterfeit florins, shillings and sixpences.
