Constable J. McMullan, of Morrinsville, said that with Constable H. Hodge he visited Patetonga on Decomner 21 when, a dance was in progress. He saw accused sell liquor to several natives. He had travelled from Waitakaruru to the dance in a companion's car, taking a large quantity of wine in bottles.
