"SLY-GROG" RAID

PREMISES AT ROTORUA TWO CUSTOMERS FINED SEQUEL TO. POLICE VISIT [by telegraph—own correspondent] KOTOR UA, Thursday A sequel to a recent police raid on "sl.v-grog" premises in Rotorua occupied by a man named Wright, who was heavily fined at the last sitting of the Court, was heard in the Polieo Court at Rotorua to-day, when two brothers, Bert Kreager and Percy Kreager, forestry workers, faced charges of being found on premises used for the illegal sale of liquor. Evidence was given by Sergeant Dunn that on Pet-ember 5, in company with three constables, ho had executed a search warrant on the premises occupied by Wright, and a considerable, quantity of liquor had been seized. When the police entered, the Kreager brothers were seated at a table drinking liquor, and both were fairly drunk. Tho magistrate, Mr. S. L. Patorson, convicted and fined both defendants £2, with costs.
