EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS
EAST COAST EXPERIENCE [BY TKI.EGRAPH —OWN COItKKSPONDKNT] WHAK ATANE, Thursday Two pronounced earthquake shocks were experienced at Whakatane at 11.00 o'clock last night. A gentle swaying motion was felt, which suddenly increased in intensity, tho tremors travelling from east to west. The shocks were also experienced in the Waimana, Taneatua and I'kl gee umbo districts.
