NEW CONDITIONS PROPOSED WELLINGTON MEN TO VOTE [nr TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Members of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union are to vote on Friday on the terms proposed in the agreement for new conditions as drawn up by the representatives of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation and Associated Shipowners' Federation. The agreement would be a national one. Mr. W. J. Roberts, secretary of the federation, will tour the Dominion, explaining the proposals to watersiders in the main shipping centres. It is anticipated that some considerable time will elapse before the federation can announce the result.
