SHIP DELAYED
KARETU FOR WELLINGTON The sailing of the Union Company's steamer Karetu for Wellington last night was delayed owing to one member of the crew, a trimmer, being absent when it was time for the vessel to sail. The Karetu was to have sailed at eleven o'clock, but as some difficulty was experienced in obtaining another man, the ship bad not left at an early hour this morning. The Karetu arrived at Auckland from Singapore and Samarang on Tuesday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She is to go from here to Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin.
