26 ITALIANS KILLED
TRAGEDY IN ERITREA HUNDRED MEN INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received December 27, 5.5 p.m.) ROME, Dec. 20 It is announced that 26 men were killed and 100 injured, 73 of them critically, through a boiler explosion on hoard the steamer Cesare Battisti at Massawa, Eritrea, Abyssinia. The ship's side was holed, causing a heavy list. The majority of the victims were Italian workmen going to Addis Ababa.
