Mr. W. Cochrane Carr, of Corbridge-on-Tyne, is visiting Auckland. He is at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. E. Riddiforcl arrived from Christchurch on Saturday morning and returned south last night.
The Hon. R. McCallum, M.L.C., arrived in Auckland from Wellington by train on Saturday morning.
Mr. S. Y. Jones, secretary to the Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. C. Webb, is at the Station Hotel.
Mr. J. Bishop, a prominent British agriculturist who is visiting Now Zealand, left Auckland yesterday for Rotorua.
Sir Charles Clifford arrived at Auckland from Christchurch on Saturday. Ho left for Palmerston North last night.
Brigadier-General G. S. Palmer and Mrs. Palmer are returning to Auckland by the Narbada, which is due here from India to-day.
