SUICIDE OF WOMAN
(Received December '27, 7.15 p.m.) PARIS, Dec. 20 Mrs. Elvira Barney, who was acquitted in London in .June, 19.'32, on a charge of shooting Thomas ScottStephen, was found dead in her bed on Christmas Day. She had recently arranged to marry a Frenchman, M. Bene Catly, who states that Mrs. Barney had been depressed by tho postponement of tho wedding through lack of money.
