JUBILEE OF COUNTY
PLANS AT COROMANDEL CELEBRATION NEXT MONTH [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] THAMES, Monday The Coromandel County Council is making arrangements for tho celebration of its diamond jubilee. The council first sat late in January, 1876, and tho present celebrations will commence on January 25, and continue until January 30.
The chief event will bo the laying of tho foundation-stone for new county offices. Other attractions will include rod and gun club shoots, motor tours the opening of the Memorial Park, and a bowling tournament. Tho finale will be a special church parade and jubilee services on January 31.
