MR. J. H. THOMAS' INTENTION APPEARANCE AT BANQUET LONDON, Nov. 20 The former Dominions Secretary, Mr. J. H. Thomas, made his first public appearance since his resignation from the Cabinet when he spoke to-day at the Jlxcelsior Philanthropic Society's banquet in London. He said: "I speak to you without any responsibilities. J am not revealing any Cabinet secrets." Mr. Thomas attended tho banquet as the guest of Lord Hirst. In an interview afterward Mr. Thomas hinted that ho would return to public life shortly. "I never intended to remain buried," he remarked. Mr. J. H. Thomas resigned his seat in the House of Commons on June 11 as a result of tho findings of tho tribunal which was appointed to inquire into alleged Budget leakages.
