BRITISH GOVERNMENT /.;• INTEREST 2| PER CENT LONDON. Not. 17 The Government announces a new issue of a medium-term ■ loan of £100,000,000 in the form of a 2| percent funding loan, redeemable 1952-57, at the issue price of £9B 10s. The loan will be floated partly to finance the redemption of £35,000,000 of bonds maturing in February, and partly to fund, the floating debt.''
