A THREE-YEAR TERM THE GOVERNMENT PLEDGED [hy tklegrafh—PßESS association] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Reference to the term of the present Parliament was made to-day by the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, in reviewing the progress he considered the Government had made in putting its election programme into operation. The Labour Government was pledged to a three-year Parliament, said Mr. Savage. Any alteration would have to bo made with the consent of the peoplo.
