BANKRUPTS DISCHARGED
ONE CASE ADJOURNED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Applications for discharge in bankruptcy were granted to the following by Mr. Justice Cnllan in the Hamilton ■Supreme Court to-day:—Agnes Patricia Calvert, married woman, of Te Kuiti; Robert Robertson Ritchie and Mnyeo Doreen Ritchie, butchers, of Frank ton; William Charles Kite, cartage contractor, of Te Awamutu. An adverse report was submitted in the case in which Douglas Murray Cowan, formerly a radio dealer, of Hamilton, sought his discharge. It was stated that petitioner had commenced business at the age of 20 without sufficient capital. He was soon involved in difficulties, and when he becamo bankrupt his estate showed a deficiency of £427. His Honor adjourned the application for sis months.
