DANCE AT MANGERE
A very successful poster ball, organised by Mrs. W. H. Backhurst, was held at Mangere on Saturday night in aid of the Sunday School funds. The judges were Mrs. Halliday, Miss Manktelow and Mr. Beckwith. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. H. Backhurst, Mrs. Battensby, Mrs. Karl, Mrs. Knott, Mrs. E. Maun, Miss Robertson, Miss Atkins, Miss Sweet, Miss M. Atkins, Miss J. Cox, Miss V. Wallace, Miss West and a large number of children.
