HEALTH OF THE POPE
RECENT REPORTS MODIFIED BENEFIT FROM HOLIDAY Times Cable LONDON, Nov. lfi The Rome correspondent of the Times says the alarming reports of the Pope's health are authoritatively declared to he without foundation. The Pope has benefited by his summer residence at the Castel Gandofb. Moreover, he recently granted a number of audiences and delivered addresses. It is admitted that the Pope has lost some of his former physical activity and is frequently carried to the threshold of the audience hall, an old-stand-ing kidney complaint causing some weakness. His Holiness has 'aged noticeably in recent months and is troubled with asthma.
