OTAHUHU GOLF CLUB
GARDEN PARTY HELD Members of the Otalmhu Ladies' Golf Club and their friends, numbering more than 70, assembled at the residence of Mrs. A. G. Grant. Hampton Park. East Tamaki, on Monday afternoon, and were entertained at a garden party. Beautiful weather favoured tho function. Bridge and competitions were arranged and solos were rendered by Mrs. W. W. Massey and Mrs. W. Quin. The winners of play were: Highest score, Mrs. Todd; hidden number, Mrs. A. K. Belcher; consolation, Miss Hvauiasson. The garden competition was won by Mrs. Stuart. A presentation of a fountain pen was made to Mrs. E. F. McNeel.v, ladies' secretary, in recognition of her services to tho club. Presentations were also made to the following members of the ladies' committee: Mrs. Quin, Miss F/iilu Hunter, Miss K. Bryant, Miss M. Waters. Mrs. Grant was presented with a reading lamp on behalf of the club. Among those attending were:— Mesdames C. Header. W. Johns. Davies, Eustace, Kccles. Todd, Humphreys. Amodeo. Warren.
