THE PLACEMENT SERVICE Tho new placement service for the relief of unemployment has, since beginning operations, succeeded in finding permanent, casual or temporary work for 12,891 persons. Of this number 1165 have been placed in work in Auckland. The total number of place merits for New Zealand for the weekended yesterday was 10-'lO.
